Job summary

HOK is seeking a structural engineer to perform analysis, design and modeling tasks for diverse building types in San Francisco. The role supports project teams from conceptual design through construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include modeling, drawing production, quality checks in Revit, and collaboration with engineers to meet aggressive schedules while advancing sustainable design practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of structural materials and systems.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
• One year of Revit modeling experience on diverse building types.

Responsibilities

• Works closely as a member of one or more project teams and assists to complete projects on aggressive schedules.
• Checks Revit models for clearances, potential conflicts, and relationships of the various parts to the whole and to one another.
• Develops, modifies and reviews models, plans, details and drawings of structural engineering systems and components according to established standards and Revit modeling techniques.
• Organizes and maintains models and documents for multiple projects.
