Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. The role involves analysis, design, and evaluation of critical civil/structural systems for client facilities, with opportunities to lead and mentor within mid-level to principal roles.

Positions are full-time across multiple U.S. locations including Overland Park, KS. Travel to job sites, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Must have experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our engineering team, you'll take on meaningful challenges that directly impact the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients' facilities. You'll support the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating proposed modifications, preparing technical reports, calculations, and specifications, and communicating findings to project teams, clients, and other key stakeholders.

Every task you tackle contributes directly to the safety, reliability, and innovation of our client facilities. You will also need to:

• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Due to Federal Contract Requirements, US Citizenship is required

Compensation Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
