Qualifications

• Minimum 4-yr Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering degree from an EAC ABET accredited institution.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Effective with the English language using both verbal and written skills.
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship both now and in the future. Nucor is unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Estimating and Sales Teams to design quotes aligned with project specs and internal standards.
• Value engineer building solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Manage quote schedules and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery of quote packages.
• Create economical, safe designs and consider total installed cost within safety requirements.
• Deliver clear and accurate design documentation to support Estimating workflow.
• Offer technical expertise through clear communication via phone, email, or meetings.
• Evaluate project risk and scope for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Support division-wide collaboration and travel as needed.
