Job summary

DN is seeking a Structural Design Engineer in Texas to design and analyze concrete tank structures, performing calculations and using FEA tools. You’ll collaborate with project teams to ensure durable, cost-efficient designs from concept to completion.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with a structural focus, EIT certification, and 3–7 years of experience in reinforced concrete and steel design, with knowledge of industry codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• EIT certification is required.
• 3-7 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Experience with reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, SAFE, ETABS, RISA or RAM.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze environmental concrete tank structures using industry best practices.
• Conduct structural calculations, modeling, and load analysis to optimize performance.
• Utilize FEA modeling software to streamline designs.
• Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to ensure design integrity.
• Engage in problem-solving during project execution and stay current with industry advances.
• Support projects during construction and integrate new technologies into designs.
