Job summary

Hirebridge LLC is seeking a CAD Technician to support engineering and sales with design and drafting services. You will create detailed drawings, BOMs, and perform critical dimension analyses using AutoCAD and related tools to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities include collaborating with design staff, ensuring QA of drawings, and prioritizing work across multiple projects, with occasional site visits to facilities or installations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting, Engineering, or AutoCAD.
• Strong ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, and engineering concepts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and current versions; MS Office especially Excel.
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and Drafting: create detailed drawings and BOMs for manufacture and installation.
• Determine critical dimensions from design info, site plans, and manuals.
• Use AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, Fusion 360, Inventor daily to complete drawings.
• Perform calculations to generate fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with design staff to refine requirements and resolve issues.
• Produce accurate drawings for design staff approval.
• Prioritize projects based on due dates.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom details for product families.
• Serve as interface between operations, plant managers, customer service, and structural engineers.
• Occasionally visit manufacturing facilities or installation sites.
