Job summary

Eppstein Uhen Architects seeks a BIM Project Specialist to support structural detailing and multidisciplinary coordination using Revit and related BIM tools. You will translate concepts into accurate models and drawings, coordinating with engineers and designers to ensure constructible results.

You will develop detailed Revit models, check for clashes, participate in coordination meetings, and help maintain BIM standards and BEP documents.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Drafting, BIM, Civil/Structural Technology or related field
• 3+ years in a structural drafting or BIM role
• Experience in a consulting structural engineering or architectural environment
• Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam or similar coordination tools
• Knowledge of BIM execution plans, model coordination workflows, and LOD requirements
• Exposure to construction documents for commercial/industrial projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills on BIM/VDC processes

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and revise structural BIM models in Revit for diverse projects
• Produce structural drawings, details, and schedules
• Assist structural engineers with model setup and drawing production
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP models to resolve clashes
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and address issues
• Adhere to BIM standards, templates, and workflows
• Assist with model quality control for accuracy and constructability
• Support design development, permitting, and construction phases
• Ensure BEP adherence and manage project-specific BIM standards
• Provide training and technical support on Revit and BIM processes
• Manage and organize structural data within the BIM model
