Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Structural BIM Modeler to guide schematic through construction-ready information using REVIT, Tekla, and internal tools in a design/build setting.

The role requires 1–3 years of BIM modeling, a compatible Associate’s degree, and strong Revit skills with exposure to Tekla. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure accuracy and meeting client expectations.

Qualifications

  • AA degree in CAD/Drafting or similar technical field.
  • 1–3 years of BIM modeling in commercial/industrial projects.
  • Strong detail orientation and quality control.
  • Working knowledge of Revit; Tekla experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop structural design information using Revit, Tekla, and Bluebeam.
  • Create conceptual to construction-ready structural models per guidance from engineering staff.
  • Perform preliminary structural system layout per guidance.
  • Develop details for complex structural conditions.
  • Prepare complete permit-ready drawing packages.
  • Incorporate electronic markups into deliverables.
  • Collaborate with PM, Construction, and Engineering to meet client expectations.
