Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Structural Design and Analysis Engineer – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
Northrop Grumman’s Electronics and Payloads Electromechanical Technology Department is seeking a Structural Design and Analysis Engineer to join our high-performance team. The qualified candidate will initially work closely with senior staff and work with a diverse and talented team of engineers helping to develop, analyze, and test everything from electronic components through hardware and integrated systems in support of a broad range of products and business areas within the Space Systems Sector. The candidate will support the design, analysis, and test of space hardware and associated support equipment for antennas / electro-optical sensors, sensor structures, electronics chassis, circuit card assemblies, modules, and electronic subassemblies and components.
The Structural Design and Analysis Engineer will be involved during all phases of program development from concept design through hardware integration and test efforts, with responsibilities ranging from design inputs, completing structural analyses, presenting at design reviews, writing test reports, and helping with product test planning and execution. The qualified candidate will perform mechanical, structural, dynamic, fatigue, fracture analyses, and encompass loads development, stress analysis (static and fatigue), and vibration analysis of metallic and composite structures.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
