Sierra Space is seeking an entry-level Structural Analysis Engineer I (Stress Analysis) in Colorado. You will contribute to design, analysis, and solution development for structural systems, under guidance from senior engineers.

Focus on ensuring structural integrity, evaluating stresses, loads, and deformations while following aerospace standards and collaborating with design teams. You will assist in applying basic analysis methods, communicating results, and contributing to project progress

Qualifications

You will Focus on ensuring structural integrity of aerospace structures by evaluating stresses, loads, and deformations, adhering to aerospace standards, and collaborating with design engineers to optimize components. In this role, you will assist in the design and analysis of structural systems, applying a basic understanding of structural analysis methods and tools to ensure the integrity of structures. You will follow instructions from senior engineers to develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope and complexity while utilizing and applying basic technical principles, standards, theories, and concepts in your work. Collaborating with team members, you will contribute to achieving project goals and ensuring successful outcomes. Additionally, you will clearly and effectively communicate and document technical concepts, supporting team alignment and decision-making.
