Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and nursing models. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to provide comprehensive, compassionate care that supports positive clinical outcomes.

You will assess patients from admission through each shift, perform required procedures, administer medications, and document care thoroughly.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN RN licensure is required.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and during each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and document care administration in the medical record; administer medications and monitor responses.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
