The Stroke Coordinator for Mission Hospital is responsible for the development and maintenance of the quality of care delivered to stroke patients and their movement across the continuum of care. The coordinator serves as a clinical expert and resource to patient and family, nursing staff, other clinical staff, physicians, and the community. The role works in collaboration with various medical, clinical, and administrative staff to achieve desired outcomes and compliance with evidence‑based practice, requirements from The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, and other accrediting bodies.
