Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the inpatient Stroke Neurology team. The APP will treat acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, coordinate code strokes in real-time with physicians, and determine eligibility for alteplase and mechanical thrombectomy.

Qualifications

• Requires NP certification and ongoing credential maintenance.
• Current RN license with BLS, ACLS within 14 days of hire.
• Eligible for prescribing privileges as NP.

• Coordinate code strokes in real-time with physicians for eligible treatments.
