Job summary

University of Miami - UHealth invites applications for a non-tenure earning Assistant Professor on the clinical educator track in the Cerebrovascular Division, Department of Neurology. The incumbent will participate in outpatient and inpatient care across UHealth and Jackson Health System, and will lead teaching, research, and mentorship activities.

Eligible candidates will have an MD with Cerebrovascular Fellowship and neurology board certification strongly recommended.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited University (or foreign equivalent).
• Cerebrovascular Fellowship is required and board certification in Neurology is strongly recommended.
• Eligible for Florida Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in outpatient settings in the UHealth and Jackson Health System.
• Care for patients in inpatient settings at Jackson Health System.
• Train and mentor physicians and staff.
• Prepare and present at teaching conferences.
• Develop a research program in Cerebrovascular Diseases.
• Obtain data for future clinical research awards.
