Qualifications

• Board certification in Stroke Neurology is required.
• Fellowship training and board certification in Vascular Neurology highly desirable.

• Experience with intravenous TPA and mechanical thrombectomy preferred.
• Strong commitment to education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Stroke Faculty Leadership: lead as stroke faculty physician for the Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Neuroscience Unit Care: act as stroke attending for the Neuroscience Unit and provide high-quality patient care.
• Education and Training: deliver lectures and provide stroke education to staff and patients.
• TPA Treatment Program Management: coordinate TPA program with endovascular teams to optimize interventions.
• Clinical Leadership and Operations: guide medical operations, policy development, and evaluation of new technologies.
• Service Management: oversee stroke program management, budgeting, and standards.
