Qualifications

• Doctoral/Ph.D. level degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine.
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency in Neurology.
• Stroke Fellowship preferred, but Stroke Program experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care for neurological emergencies and stroke patients.
• Utilize vascular neurology expertise to treat stroke patients.
• Review patient history and synthesize data for care decisions and treatment plans.
• Coordinate information and communicate care decisions to patients and families.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
• May participate in on-call rotation.
