Job summary

Summa Health Neuroscience Institute is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist in Akron, Ohio to join a nationally recognized program. The role features a 7-on/7-off block for 23 weeks per year, promoting work-life balance while ensuring continuity of care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team across Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Trauma services. This employed position offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for clinical research and program

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Current unrestricted Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, which promotes both work-life balance and continuity of care.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team. The selected provider will work in close collaboration alongside Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma programs to ensure seamless, coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery. Candidate Qualifications*
