Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist in Akron, Ohio to join the Neuroscience Institute. The role features a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, with opportunity for Stroke Directorship for qualified candidates.

The selected physician will work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate across neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, endovascular, and trauma programs to deliver seamless care from emergency intervention through recovery.

Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.
• Board certification and/or eligibility in Vascular Neurology.
• Current unrestricted license or ability to obtain license to practice in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke neurology care as part of Summa Health Neuroscience Institute.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma teams to ensure coordinated care.
