Job summary
Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the 5 West Medical Surgical unit. The RN provides skilled nursing care with emphasis on stroke/AMS/TIA/Dialysis and other med/surg conditions, while delivering exceptional patient and family service.
New graduates are welcome; a 10-week Transition to Practice and 6-month residency support your growth. Starting pay for new grads is $36.00/hour.
Qualifications
- RN degree and RN licensure required.
- Experience in acute care preferred but new graduates welcomed.
- Knowledge of nursing process and standards of practice expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide competent nursing care based on the nursing process.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote health and safety.
