Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct bedside care to adult patients in a 38-bed medical-surgical unit with stroke and telemetry needs. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update care plans, administer medications, and monitor patients' status.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Maryland.
• Experience in stroke care and telemetry monitoring.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care to adult patients in a 38-bed medical-surgical unit.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments; update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patients’ clinical status, including telemetry.
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and escalate to the provider team.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment, and care plans.
• Support a safe, organized unit environment and maintain professional standards of care.
