Job summary

Massage Envy is seeking a skilled massage therapist to join our Amherst franchised location, delivering Massage Envy’s exclusive Streto Method and Total Body Stretch services to help clients improve flexibility, mobility, and performance.

We handle overhead, marketing, and booking so you can focus on great, safe sessions. Benefits include health coverage, a 401K with company match, paid time off, a free employee membership, and 12+ CE credits each year.

Qualifications

• Certified personal trainers or massage therapists with strong knowledge of human anatomy (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in exercise science or current NASM/ACE/ISSA/ACSM/AFPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Massage Envy’s stretch therapy service, Total Body Stretch, to improve flexibility, mobility, and performance.
• Customize stretch sessions within Massage Envy's policies to personalize services.
• Safeguard the client experience, maintain confidentiality, and uphold safety.

• Protect workplace culture by supporting team goals and building positive relationships.

What It Takes to Succeed

• Knowledgeable professionalswho are certified personal trainers or massage therapists with a strong command of human anatomy (preferred).
• Well-educatedand credentialed in their specific field of bodywork.Certified personal trainers should have a minimum of one year of experience in personal training, fitness coaching, therapeutic bodywork or a related field and should have either a Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a similar field or have a current certification from NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or AFPA or similar program.
• Clear communicatorswho can effectively identify each client's needs, set clear expectations, and stay connected to the client throughout the session to achieve the goals of each service.
• Total body care championswho can recommend follow‑up visits and additional services and products as needed to help clients pursue their wellness goals.
• Great teammateswho show up on time ready to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.
