Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a General Dynamics subsidiary, seeks an engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and at least 18 months of related engineering experience, including stress analysis of primary aircraft structures. Knowledge of FEM and CATIA V5 is required.
The role focuses on solving engineering problems, providing technical oversight, and supporting project milestones, with travel up to 25%, a first-shift schedule, and a full-time employment type
Candidate must have at minimum a bachelors degree in eithter Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Candidate have a mimimum of one year of experience in stress analysis on primary aircraft structures. Fatigue analysis experience is a plus. Candidate must have a solid knowledge of FEM and CATIA V5.
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 18 months related Engineering experience. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD in field applicable to the job position.
Position Purpose:
Performs engineering work related to the investigation and the solution of technical problems associated with research, design, development, service and manufacture of Gulfstream aircraft.
