Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stress Lab at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time, day shift position.

As an RN in the Stress Lab, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, monitor patients during cardiac testing, educate families, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN (state license) required.
• ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• Diploma-prepared nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care experience.
• 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in Stress Lab.
• Monitor patients during diagnostic cardiac testing and procedures.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment, and plan of care.
• Administer medications and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team.
