Job summary

Wayne State College is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Strength & Conditioning department. A total of 400 work hours is required, typically 25 hours per week in Spring. The appointment offers a $6,300 stipend for Spring 2027 and a graduate tuition waiver for up to 9 credits, including the following summer session.

Renewal after the first year is possible. Start Spring 2027. Responsibilities include programming for multiple sports, overseeing facility needs, supporting mobility and nutrition

Qualifications

• Applicants must be accepted into graduate program at WSC.
• Previous experience in strength and conditioning.
• CPR / AED certification or the ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Programming for multiple sports, leading and assisting athletes during training.
• Overseeing facility needs and open lifting times; supporting mobility and nutrition efforts.
• Assisting in supervising interns and contributing to program development.
