D1 Training Pittsburgh West is seeking a Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our elite athletic development team. You will lead high-energy group workouts, deliver sport-specific programming, and drive athlete performance in a fast-paced, team-first environment.
Responsibilities include coaching during peak hours (weeknights, Saturdays), tracking progress, and ensuring safe movement patterns while upholding the D1 standard of accountability and results.

D1 provides dynamic, athletic‑based group training for Scholastic Athletes (ages 7–18), Adults, and Collegiate/Pro Athletes. Our mission is to empower every athlete to reach their full potential by delivering the best training environment, coaching, and accountability in the world.
Lead the Turf: Deliver high‑energy group workouts, targeted personal training, and sport‑specific team camps using D1’s periodized training system.
Drive Results: Measure progress, provide basic nutrition guidance, and keep athletes accountable to long‑term goals.
Own Client Retention: Build authentic relationships with athletes and parents through regular follow‑ups, progress tracking, and movement assessments.
Prioritize Safety: Teach flawless movement mechanics to build resilient athletes and minimize injury risk.
Certification: Valid NCCA-accredited Strength & Conditioning certification (e.g., CSCS, USAW, NASM-PES, NSCA-CPT)
Safety: Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
Experience: Minimum 2+ years coaching strength and conditioning (Group, Team, or High-Performance Personal Training)
Availability: Ready to coach during peak training hours (Weeknights, Friday afternoons, Saturdays)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
