D1 Training - Alliance in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead athletic training culture and programming. This role involves hiring and developing coaching staff while ensuring a safe, high-quality training environment for athletes of all ages.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in strength and conditioning, with at least 2 years of experience and appropriate certifications. Join a dedicated team at a facility focusing on athlete development and performance.
The weight room is where athletic development becomes real. At D1 Training Alliance, the Strength & Conditioning Coach owns that space — the culture, the safety, the programming quality, and the results that athletes and families trust us to deliver.
This is not a training floor supervisor. This is the leader who sets the standard for how every athlete in our facility is trained, corrected, challenged, and developed. You will assist with hiring and developing our coaching staff, oversee programming across group classes, personal training, and team sessions, and be the person our athletes and coaches look to when the bar is in their hands.
If you believe strength and conditioning is a science and a craft — and that coaching it well is one of the highest-leverage things you can do for a young athlete's future — this role was built for you.
You set the standard for safety, effort, and form — and you hold everyone in the room to it. Every athlete who walks through our doors should feel the difference between training here and training anywhere else.
You hire, develop, and lead our team of coaches. You identify their strengths, close their gaps, and build a staff that can deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across every session. When a coach struggles, you coach them. When a coach is ready to grow, you create the path.
You ensure that what is programmed is appropriate, progressive, and safe for athletes from age 7 through adult. You review and modify movements as needed. You are the final word on whether something is right for the athlete in front of you.
You build the kind of environment where athletes want to come back — because they are getting better, because they feel accountable, and because someone in that room genuinely cares about their progress. Retention is a coaching outcome, not a sales metric.
You are a connector. You build relationships with athletes, families, local coaches, and community partners. You are the face of what XF Performance coaching looks like in this market.
You do not have to have the longest resume. You have to show up prepared, lead with integrity, hold your athletes and staff accountable to a standard, and never stop learning how to coach better. Everything else is a starting point.
