Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of Personal Training Certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build rapport with others.
• Organized self-starter with effective problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Excellent team-based communication and the ability to receive and deliver feedback.
• Ability to motivate a large group while providing cueing to all fitness levels.
• Reading, writing and speaking English clearly.
• Experience operating basic Audio/Visual equipment.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong rapport and sense of community with members by maintaining a consistent coaching schedule and providing safe and motivating sessions for participants.
• Deliver classes within Chuze guidelines, arriving prepared with any necessary equipment and music, adhering to licensing requirements.
• Complete onboarding and training materials before teaching live sessions and stay updated on changes.
• Maintain gym cleanliness and ensure presentation is extraordinarily clean.
• Engage in growth by using feedback from the Fitness Manager through regular check-ins, training and evaluations.
• Keep up with ongoing fitness industry education and maintain proof of credentials.
• Maintain professional relationships with all Chuze staff to meet member and facility needs.
• Attend Fitness department meetings and promotional events to boost participation.
• Use the Fitness Communication Platform for department communications.

Job Description

Pay Range: $19.31 - $24.13 / hour

The Fit Pros at Chuze lead various high-intensity exercise classes and activities designed to improve participants’ physical fitness and overall well-being. They are knowledgeable and courteous professionals dedicated to creating exceptional fitness experiences, which makes our classes a top choice for Chuze members.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Build a strong rapport and sense of community with members by maintaining a consistent coaching schedule and providing safe and motivating sessions for participants
• Deliver classes within Chuze guidelines, arriving to each class with prepared with any necessary equipment and music with adherence to licensing agency requirements
• Complete Chuze onboarding and training materials before teaching live sessions and maintain knowledge of updates
• Maintain Chuze cleanliness standards during and after sessions and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
• Engage in the growth and development process by utilizing feedback received from the Fitness Manager through regular check-ins, training, and session evaluations
• Participate in ongoing fitness industry education and maintain proof of current credentials
• Maintain professional relationships through communication and teamwork with all Chuze staff to meet member and facility needs
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled Fitness department meetings and special promotional events to promote participation in Chuze Fitness offerings
• Utilize the Fitness Communication Platform for essential department communications
