Job summary

D1 TRAINING in Covington, LA is seeking a dedicated Coach to foster a positive, motivating environment for scholastic and adult athletes. You will coach group workouts, personal training, and teams, tailoring movements to each athlete and delivering top-level instruction in strength, speed, and nutrition.

The role emphasizes safety, on-time start/end, and building lasting relationships with members while maximizing retention through exceptional service.

Qualifications

• AED/CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:
• Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
• Starting and finishing workouts on time
• Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
• Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
• Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
• Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
• Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe
