Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Minnesota Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• 1 year of previous street maintenance, road or general construction experience preferred.
• Must be available for overtime, shift changes, or on-call as necessary.
• Mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Perform street and stormwater maintenance tasks including manual labor and equipment operation.
• Assist with snow removal by plowing streets, sidewalks, and parking lots using appropriate equipment.
• Conduct street maintenance such as sweeping, patching, overlaying, curb repair, and storm sewer repair.
• Operate vehicles with valid class B driver's license endorsements and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain professional interactions with colleagues, other agencies, and the public.
