Job summary

The City of Espanola is seeking a Streets Laborer to assist with the construction and maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and storm drains under the Streets Supervisor. You will help install and maintain traffic signs, pavement markings, and other non-electrical controls, performing both skilled and routine tasks.

Required are a High School Diploma or equivalent, two years of related laborer experience or training, a valid New Mexico driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years related experience and/or training in a laborer position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction and maintenance work on City streets, roads, sidewalks, and storm drains.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of traffic control signs, pavement markings, and other non-electrical traffic control devices.
• Perform a series of skilled and unskilled tasks and related duties as required.
