Job summary

Team Fishel in Lexington, KY is hiring Streetlight Technicians to support our electric utility construction operations. A Class-A CDL is strongly preferred and may be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.

Techs will work on energized and de-energized overhead and underground distribution lines, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and replacing streetlight components as part of our growing utility construction team.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
• Ability to operate bucket and digger truck.
• Bilingual and prior construction experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled work in construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized overhead and underground electrical distribution lines and equipment.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, installing and removing overhead streetlight and guard light circuits.
• Replacement of street and guard light heads, bulbs, photo electric eyes, and refractors.
• Other duties as assigned
