# Street Team Member## •### @GothamFCPosted on 9/18/2025•Part-time## Job DescriptionNJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ.**The Role:***Gotham FC is seeking a part-time Street Team member that will report to the Brand Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will have experience in working events and interacting with clients/fans as a representation of their organization. They will have an outgoing personality and enthusiasm for soccer paired with a passion for meeting new people and helping create memorable experiences. The Street Team is expected to work on weekends/non-traditional hours.***Key Responsibilities:*** Promote Gotham FC in a professional, respectful, and exciting manner while working events, activations, and community gatherings* Serve as the face of Gotham FC in the market, representing the team with a smile on your face and a can-do attitude* Collaborate and communicate efficiently with other Street Team members and Gotham FC* Use items in the Street Team toolkit to engage potential fans and generate leads for the business**Qualifications:*** Must be at least 18 years of age* Must be positive and high energy team players* Must have weekend and daytime availability, and the ability to work untraditional hours including occasional weekdays, evenings, and some holidays* Must be able to travel to the venue or to an event meeting point* Must study and understand the Gotham FC roster and club happenings* Must be well-organized, with ability to multitask and manage time effectively* Must have excellent communication skills* Must have the ability to stay flexible and adaptable, especially during live events* Must be able to work at least 2 shifts a month at community events across the New Jersey and New York metro area in collaboration with other Street Team members* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.* Must be able to lift (25) pounds and perform some manual labor**Capability & Other Characteristics:*** **Influence:** Using high energy and social skills to get people excited about Gotham FC* **Judgement:** Ability to respectfully interact with different types of fans* **Flexibility:** Must be able to switch gears on a moment’s notice and adapt to shifting priorities* **Problem Solving:** Must be resourceful and possess strong decision making skills* Spanish Speaking Skills: Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required* Soccer Skills: Any prior soccer playing experience preferred but not required**Location:**This position will require Street Team members to work events and activations around New York and New Jersey. Home base will be at Gotham FC’s business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place Jersey City, New Jersey. Street Team members must be able to travel to the office to pick up all event items/needs ahead of their shift. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise, is required.
