Comstock-Companies is seeking a ParkX Street Sweeper Operator to maintain street cleanliness and roadway appearance in assigned areas. You will operate a street sweeper truck along routes, follow safety protocols, inspect equipment, and work with a professional attitude toward residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with no major driving violations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the street sweeper vehicle to remove trash, debris, leaves, and other materials from assigned routes.
• Follow safe operating practices and all applicable traffic laws and site protocols.
• Inspect the vehicle and equipment before and after each shift.
• Perform daily exterior cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed by management.
• Report to the assigned location before the shift and wear the ParkX uniform.
• Maintain a professional attitude toward staff, residents, clients, and visitors.
• Support management on special cleaning or maintenance projects.
• Keep storage areas organized and free of hazards.
• Complete shift-end documentation and handoff responsibilities.
• Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are needed.
• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Participate in team meetings and stay informed on operations.
• Provide coverage for coworkers during absences and assist in different areas.
• Be available to work weekends and outside regular hours, especially during events.

Job description

The ParkX Street Sweeper Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of streets and public roadways within assigned areas. This includes safely operating a street sweeper truck along designated routes to remove trash, debris, leaves, and other waste, contributing to the overall appearance and safety of the community. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to operate the vehicle safely while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate the street sweeper vehicle to remove trash, debris, leaves, and other materials from assigned routes.
• Follow safe operating practices, as well as all applicable traffic laws and site protocols.
• Conduct inspections of the assigned vehicle and equipment before and after each shift.
• Complete daily cleaning and maintenance tasks in exterior areas as directed by the Senior Operations Manager, Janitorial.
• Report to the assigned location before the start of the shift wearing the approved ParkX uniform.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure the proper use of cleaning tools and equipment.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward property staff, residents, clients, and visitors.
• Support management teams with special cleaning or maintenance projects as requested.
• Keep machinery and supply storage areas organized and free of hazards.
• Complete all required documentation at the end of each shift and ensure a proper handoff of responsibilities to the next shift.
• Monitor inventory and notify management when additional cleaning materials or supplies are needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions in exterior areas to management.
• Adhere to assigned cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Participate in team meetings and stay informed of operational updates related to site cleaning and maintenance.
• Provide coverage for coworkers during absences and assist in different exterior areas as needed.
• Be available to work weekends and outside regular business hours, particularly during events or peak-demand periods.
