Job summary

The City of Farmington is seeking a Street Maintenance worker to perform general repair and maintenance of streets and storm water infrastructure, and to assist in construction of new streets and systems. Responsibilities include operating trucks and heavy equipment, snow removal, and routine equipment maintenance.

Applicants must be able to work strenuous tasks in all weather conditions and hold a high school diploma or GED with a valid MO driver’s license (CDL preferred).

The City of Farmington is now accepting applications for a Street Maintenance worker. Typical duties include general repair and maintenance of streets and storm water infrastructure, construction of new streets and storm water systems, operation of trucks and heavy equipment, snow removal and equipment maintenance. Candidates must have the ability to do strenuous work in all weather conditions. Must have a high school diploma or GED and valid MO driver’s license (CDL preferred).

The pay range for this position is $41,600 to $50,606 per year. The City offers an excellent benefit package that includes full paid health, dental, vision and life insurance, Missouri LAGERS retirement, paid vacation after six months, sick leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more. The benefit package has an added value of $6.85 per hour.
