Job summary

Urban Sky is assembling and refurbishing payload and avionics systems at our Denver, CO headquarters. This role involves working with the Lead Technician and hardware engineering to produce production and R&D systems for regular flight operations, with a focus on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting in an ESD-sensitive environment.

You will join a small, collaborative team in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembly, repair and troubleshooting in an ESD sensitive environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and precision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical concepts.
• Good problem solving, troubleshooting, critical thinking and creative thinking skills.
• Experience with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and integration of electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Semi-automated testing of completed assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and track manufacturing issues with assistance from our Electrical Engineering team.
