Job summary

Aurora Health Care's Enterprise Consulting Group seeks a capable project professional to manage small to moderately complex engagements. You will develop work plans, monitor timelines and budgets, and leverage our SOC approach and templates to drive measurable results for clinical and operational initiatives.

You will lead meetings, support change management, analyze data, and collaborate with leaders to deliver value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field; Master’s preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
  • Typically requires 3 years of healthcare payer/provider operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations impacting clients and colleagues.
  • Builds a network of contacts.
  • Develops techniques of persuasive verbal and written presentation.
  • Identifies and manages change effectively in a changing environment.
  • Works with team to utilize change management processes and tools to support adoptions of changes required by project or initiative.
  • Tests client hypotheses and solutions with robust data consulting processes and techniques.
  • Leads meetings/work sessions to support execution of engagements.
  • Manages delivery in consulting engagement under guidance of experienced colleagues.
  • Uses planning tools and sets milestones appropriate for size and scale of assignment.
  • Defines project management processes and standards and establishes targets, benchmarks and performance measures for project delivery.
  • Plans, organizes, controls and evaluates projects from concept phase to implementation.
  • Assists with data collection, data entry and report generation.

Job description

As a member in the Enterprise Consulting group, manages small to moderately complex projects, or assists client in execution of portions of engagement. Develops project work plans and related performance metrics to ensure all project activities are executed against established timelines and budgets, leveraging the SOC approach, tools and templates. Uses process improvement, performance improvement or project management methodologies and effective management of internal/external resources assigned to complete activities. The Enterprise Consulting Group (ECG) is the organization’s internal consulting arm and a trusted advisor to senior leaders. Major Responsibilities

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field

Work Experience
  • Typically requires ~3 years of experience in healthcare payer or provider operations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Knowledge and expertise in use of project, program management, and performance improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly around Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to concisely communicate with key leaders.
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a focus on delivery of key project objectives with the ability to work through the challenges associated with projects of varying complexity.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and evidence of being a strong team player.
  • Possesses a strong orientation toward innovation and new ideas.
  • Facilitation and persuasion skills with ability to influence peers, superiors and sub‑ordinates.
  • Capable of influencing project team members to achieve goals associated with successful project delivery.
  • Reliably work with operational leaders to address important factors in critical decisions.
  • Ability to conduct data analysis and glean insights relevant to the work.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
  • Position is hybrid, ability to travel to an Advocate facility with 24 hour's notice is required.
  • Position requires travel and is therefore exposed to road, weather, and normal travel hazards.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
