Job summary

A global logistics company is seeking a Strategy Intern for its corporate office in Columbus, OH. We are currently recruiting for a Strategy Intern at our corporate office in Westerville, OH.

Our Strategy Internship offers a dynamic opportunity for undergraduate students to immerse themselves in strategic planning, analysis, and execution processes. Interns will gain hands‑on experience in conducting research, supporting strategic initiatives, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, preparing them for future leadership roles in the business world. Successful interns will be considered for our full‑time role upon graduation.

The Strategy Intern will support our Strategy team, while also participating in a formalized Summer Internship Program. The goal of the program is to enhance student’s business acumen through continuous learning and networking opportunities. Throughout the summer, interns have the opportunity to:

• Participate in a series of webinars that focus on professional networking, communication and presentation skills
• Listen and ask questions to our executives through our Executive Speaker Series
• Collaborate with other interns across North America on a Capstone Project
• Travel to Columbus, OH, to present their Capstone Project to leadership at the Intern Capstone Event
• Network with other interns and business leaders across all regions and business segments within the organization
• Be considered for full time roles

The scope of projects and daily tasks may include:

• Conduct research and analysis to support strategic initiatives and projects, including market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments.
• Assist in the development of strategic recommendations and presentations for senior leadership, utilizing data‑driven insights and frameworks.
• Document processes, methodologies, and best practices to create a repository of knowledge and resources for future reference and training purposes.
• Provide general project support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure project milestones are met.
• Assist with ad‑hoc tasks and special projects as needed to support the strategy team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field
• Graduating within the following academic year
• Ability to work full time for 10-12 weeks during the summer months and travel to Columbus, OH in late July
