Knorr-Bremse is seeking a Strategy Associate to support the Growth Beyond Program Office in analyzing strategic growth opportunities beyond the current core business. You will conduct market, competitor and trend analyses, leveraging AI-supported research to maintain a structured strategic perspective across rail growth initiatives.

The role requires 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy or business development, strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, and some travel.

Formación

• 2-4 years of corporate strategy or business development experience.
• Experience in coordinating work packages, milestones and stakeholders.
• Familiar with strategy frameworks (PESTEL, Porter, BCG) and AI-supported research.
• Understanding of rail or industrial value chain is a plus.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI/Tableau is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and evaluate strategic growth opportunities beyond the current core business.
• Conduct market, competitor and trend analyses using strategy frameworks and AI-supported research.
• Maintain a structured strategic perspective with competitor profiles and market data.
• Prepare analyses, presentations and background papers for management decisions and executive briefings.
• Independently manage defined work packages, deliverables and milestones.
• Support project management activities including planning, risk tracking and stakeholder coordination.
• Analyze data for business cases, scenario analyses and initial M&A assessments.
• Prepare and follow up workshops and stakeholder interviews.
