About You

We are looking for a special individual to join us. As a member of the strategy team, you will feel vested in the team’s success and care about the professional experience of colleagues. You will work on a wide variety of challenging strategy projects that offer growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis, gathering, analyzing, structuring, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative business, external market, competitor data, as well as examining aspects of the firm’s client base, capabilities, and economics to find patterns, draw implications, and develop effective deliverables.
  • Manage projects and plan work, starting from a general problem statement, clearly scoping strategic issues and options, developing hypotheses, and exploring them while balancing multiple efforts and meeting deadlines with accuracy, organization, documentation, communication, and follow‑through.
  • Develop strategic options and provide decision support, presenting findings through compelling and logical deliverables such as qualitative and quantitative exhibits, written reports, and actionable options for decision makers; potentially framing implementation plans.
  • Build relationships, developing and growing business relationships vital to each project; fostering a collaborative approach with team members and across support functions in line with Ropes & Gray’s culture of collaboration.

Compensation And Total Rewards Package

Ropes & Gray offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including health and well‑being benefits, personal and professional development, career growth opportunities, and a collegial culture. The pay range is $150,100–$240,150 in Boston and $161,000–$257,600 in New York. The role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.

Working Conditions

The position requires hybrid on‑site presence. Consistent and predictable on‑site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development, and effective collaboration.
