Google is seeking a seasoned strategist to lead business operations for the Cross Product Solutions (XPS) organization within the Global Product Solutions Strategy and Operations team. The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future‑growth initiatives.
The Global Product Solutions Strategy and Operations team partners closely with each Global Product Solutions (GPS) leadership team and the regional go-to-market (GTM) teams to drive strategic initiatives end‑to‑end for GBO. The team's job to be done ranges from running point on the GPS annual strategy planning process, defining and aligning product objective key results (OKR) metrics to steer the Ads business with, prepping product-specific business forecast meeting executive reviews and product-specific steering committee reviews with cross‑functional business and product leaders, and one-off, product‑centric strategy projects to drive high‑impact outcomes in service of product positioning and activation.
In this role, you will be partner to the Vice President, GPS of Cross Product Solutions (XPS) and their leadership team, a product expert group that acts as the single voice from Sales to Product and shapes product direction. You will currently be accountable and responsible for leading effective business operations for the XPS team and driving the organization mission and culture.
You will lead annual planning, OKR definition and target setting for the XPS VP. Throughout the year, you will manage the headcount and opex for the organization, establish and drive organization wide culture and learning efforts and help prioritize decisions for central go-to-market initiatives to speed up the product to market feedback loop.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever‑evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
