Job summary

Empower Retirement is seeking a Strategist Participant Communication to service existing client relationships in the Large/Mega/Not-For-Profit market. You will develop, implement and measure multi-touch communication strategies across channels, guiding retirement education and participant wellness for a book of LMN clients.

The role requires 5+ years in retirement communications, client management, and a strong grasp of defined contribution/benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications, finance or relevant field required.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.
• Retirement industry experience: typically, a minimum five years, including knowledge of defined contribution/defined benefit plans.
• Retirement communications experience with multi-channel delivery.
• Client management experience; typically, a minimum of five years in corporate benefits, communications or marketing.
• Strong presentation and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn other systems quickly.
• Knowledge of style guides.
• Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Adaptable to a fluid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, manages and measures the participant communications strategy for Empower's LMN clients.
• Oversees client communications budget, timelines, and quality control.
• Attends client meetings to present concepts and campaign updates.
• Coordinates multi-channel communications to improve retirement readiness and participant wellness.
• Guides clients on financial education and uses tools to drive engagement.
• Manages a book of business and ensures client satisfaction and profitability.
