Job summary

Google in the United States is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences for billions of users. You will create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, collaborating across engineering and product management to evolve Google’s design language.

As part of the Ecosystem Growth team, you will drive innovative design directions, develop scalable frameworks, and apply user-centered methods to deliver engaging products like Google

Qualifications

  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.

Job description

In accordance with Washington state law, we are highlighting our comprehensive benefits package, which is available to all eligible US based employees. Benefits for this role include:

  • 2 years of experience leading design projects and creating scalable design frameworks.
  • Experience utilizing AI-assisted design workflows and tools to generate functional prototypes.
  • Experience in motion design or working in an agency design environment.

  • Identify high-value opportunities and explore net-new product innovations that drive ecosystem growth and seamlessness by addressing emerging user needs across platforms and products.
  • Take ownership of early-stage, ambiguous concepts and rapidly turn them into living, high-fidelity, interactive prototypes.
  • Articulate design positions and challenge partners with new product design thinking utilizing excellent storytelling skills.
  • Facilitate the innovation process through creative workshops, utilizing design thinking methods to align cross-functional and cross-product area partners behind a shared outlook.
  • Partner across UX teams to drive these strategic directions into concrete launches and landings.
