Blue Cross NC is seeking an AVP, Underwriting & Strategic Pricing to lead underwriting and pricing strategy for the Commercial Employer market. You will partner with Sales, Actuarial, Finance, Product, Network Management, and Operations to drive profitable growth and enterprise outcomes.

The role emphasizes growth, risk management, affordability, and financial performance, requiring strong leadership, executive presence, and the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or 12+ years in underwriting or related healthcare business experience.
• Progressive leadership in underwriting, strategic pricing, or actuarial partnership.
• Strong business and financial acumen with experience in growth, profitability, forecasting.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and translate data into business decisions.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence; MBA a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead underwriting and strategic pricing for the Commercial Employer market.
• Partner with executives to balance growth, competitiveness, and profitability.
• Oversee risk assessment, rate development, and pricing methodologies.
