Job summary

EY seeks a seasoned professional in unclaimed property to advise clients on compliance, audit defense, and consulting for escheat and related services. You will build relationships with clients, lead engagements, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, hybrid work environment across US offices.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience, with CPA or IPT-like credentials valued. Travel is expected as part of client service and engagements across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related work experience.
• CPA certification, Member of the US Bar or IPT designation.
• Experience related to compliance, audit defense and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.
• Performance and process advisory experience in unclaimed property compliance.
• Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
• Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in client consultations and optimize unclaimed property and escheat approaches.
• Develop strong client relationships and coach junior team members.
• Apply extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.
• Collaborate in a highly team-based culture with internal resources.
