Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering or equivalent.
• Six to ten years of related public works management experience or training.
• Experience with budgeting, grant management, and multi-department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the operations of the Engineering, Street, Airport and Public Works Maintenance departments.
• Oversight of local Bus Transit program and grants oversight.
• Plans and administers annual operating budgets and capital bond projects.
• Develops long-range plans and objectives aligned with city priorities.
• Directs planning, design, construction and estimation of city public works projects.
• Represents the city in meetings with public officials and stakeholders.
