Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Sales Planning TPM/TPO Functional Lead (Finance) to own TPM tools, drive adoption, and define the product roadmap for US Sales. This temporary assignment through December 2027 can be based in Chicago, IL or Newark, NJ.

The role collaborates with Sales, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure promo planning accuracy, develop forecasting tools, and improve forecast performance while aligning processes and inputs across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in Demand and Customer Management in FMCG.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead TPM system implementation and launch across the organization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing on forecasting tools and change management.
• Own maintenance and roadmap of trade planning systems.
• Analyze forecast performance and drive improvements for accuracy.
• Support strategic demand planning with stakeholders and incremental forecasts.
• Identify challenges, provide solutions, maximize forecast accuracy.
• Drive scalable, data-driven process improvements for planning.
• Coordinate with Data Science, Digital, and Product Development for enhancements.
• Use performance metrics to identify trends, risks, opportunities.
• Assist Sales/Operations in understanding forecast vs plan.
• Recommend corrective actions to improve planning outcomes.
