Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Contract Manufacturing Manager to lead relationships with third party manufacturers and ensure compliant, on-time supply of materials under contract. You will coordinate with Legal, R&D, QA, Regulatory and Procurement to optimize capacity, cost and performance, including negotiation of extensions or new contracts.

The role requires frequent travel to TPM sites, strategic capacity planning, and maintaining contract data to meet milestone targets and launch plans for AbbVie products.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in science, engineering, operations, business or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in manufacturing, program management, materials, logistics, QA, marketing or engineering.
• Strong financial analysis, negotiations and project management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between AbbVie and TPM; travel to TPM sites.
• Negotiate extensions or new contracts and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Analyze TPM capacity vs. forecasts to meet strategic objectives.
• Identify opportunities to in-source or out-source products and consolidate TPMs.
• Maintain contract data and track key dates and milestones.
