Job summary

The Town of Rome in central Wisconsin seeks a proactive Town Administrator to lead this growing community. You will guide daily operations, foster open communication, and implement the town board's priorities for economic development and responsible budgeting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in public administration (Master's preferred) with at least three years of progressive municipal management; residency is encouraged but not required; strong skills in budget development, personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred with at least 3 years municipal management experience.
• Residency encouraged but not required; strong budget and community planning background.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and implement Town Board priorities.
• Oversee budgeting, personnel management, and municipal projects.
• Coordinate economic development and redevelopment efforts (TID No. 1).
