Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians seeks a Senior Intelligence Analyst to lead intelligence analysis and produce actionable intelligence on security threats affecting the Tribe and Enterprise. The role guides Analysts, ensures quality of products, and supports decision-making through timely threat assessments.

The individual will supervise analysts, oversee reporting, and maintain data integrity across open-source and internal sources while coordinating with tribal leadership and public safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Crime and Intelligence or related field required; advanced certificate may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive threat analysis and develops tactical and strategic intelligence assessments.
• Utilizes the intelligence cycle to collect, evaluate, analyze, and disseminate timely, accurate intelligence products.
• Produces high-quality written reports and briefings that translate complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Provides near real-time situational awareness and intelligence support to security operations.
• Mentors and guides junior analysts to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
• Develops SOPs and analytical methodologies to strengthen the division’s analytical capabilities.
• Represents the department in coordination with Tribal leadership and external partners.
