Job summary

Alliance HCM in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Technical Product Owner to bridge business goals with technical execution, owning the vision and roadmap for our core platform capabilities.

You'll translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories, manage engineering backlogs, and partner with leadership to prioritize infrastructure, scalability, and modernization while delivering high-impact client projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems architecture.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories.
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, payroll technology, or Human Capital Management (HCM) environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for Alliance HCM's core platform capabilities.
• Evaluate opportunities, assess technical feasibility, and identify dependencies before development begins.
• Prioritize infrastructure improvements, scalability initiatives, and modernization efforts.
• Transform complex business challenges into detailed technical specifications and manage backlogs.
• Collaborate with Engineering leadership to enable delivery and high-impact client projects.
