Job summary

Riot Games is seeking a Principal Technical Product Manager for VALORANT Foundations to define cross-cutting platform strategy and lead high-impact initiatives end-to-end. You will align with engineering leads, game teams, and central tech partners to improve build and release pipelines, developer tooling, and engine capabilities.

You will translate developer empathy into infrastructure improvements, champion AI-assisted workflows, and drive measurable value for both engineers and players across

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical product management or related field.
• Familiarity with game development lifecycle (engines, tools, live-ops).
• Ability to operate at Principal level without direct authority.
• Strong technical background to debate tradeoffs with engineers.
• Experience turning ambiguous tech into concrete roadmaps with milestones.
• Experience owning platform, developer-tools, or systems products.
• Experience integrating AI tooling into PM craft.

Responsibilities

• Define and align product strategy for cross-cutting platform areas with measurable value for developers and players.
• Bring clarity to Foundations' initiatives for long-term success.
• Lead cross-functional teams through influence, driving decisions to closure without direct authority.
• Serve as strategic proxy for Foundations leadership, owning high-stakes opportunities end-to-end.
• Partner with engineering leads to ensure scalable platform solutions.
• Broker collaboration with central tech to align platform ownership.
• Translate developer needs into infra and tooling improvements.
• Champion AI-augmented workflows to shorten the cycle from insight to execution.
